The Clinical Crossroads: Decoding Challenges in Modern Cardiovascular Care
A one-day cardiovascular symposium and workshop with 19 Heartology specialists for general practitioners, cardiologists, surgeons, and nurses, with Ministry of Health SKP credits. Saturday, 31 October 2026, at The Westin Jakarta.
About the event
CARES (Cardiac & Vascular Excellence Scientific Update) 2026 is a one-day cardiovascular symposium and workshop organised by Heartology Cardiovascular Hospital together with the Indonesian Heart Association (PERKI). This year CARES takes the theme The Clinical Crossroads: Decoding Challenges in Modern Cardiovascular Care, for general practitioners, cardiologists, surgeons, and nurses.
The morning symposium has three sessions: valvular heart disease (mitral and aortic stenosis), chronic venous disease, and atrial fibrillation. Each session closes with a panel discussion with the moderator and speakers. In the afternoon, five workshop classes run in parallel: Lipid Masterclass, Emergency ECG for GP, Basic WSD Workshop, PFO Associated Stroke, and Modern PCI (FFR and IVUS) for cathlab nurses only. The workshop class is chosen when buying the ticket, with 30 places per class.
Nineteen Heartology specialists lead the symposium and workshops, supported by Heartology’s cardiovascular nursing team. The programme may change.
The CARES 2026 symposium and workshops are registered with the Ministry of Health (numbers 62390/F.V/REG-KT.03.02/2026 and 62394/F.V/REG-KT.03.02/2026). SKP values for each profession are set by the Indonesian Health Collegium. Participants need a Satu Sehat SDMK or Plataran Sehat account, and electronic certificates are emailed within 14 days after the event.
Every ticket includes a certificate and SKP credits, scientific materials (workshop materials for workshop participants only), a seminar kit, refreshments (morning coffee break and lunch, plus an afternoon coffee break for workshop participants), a souvenir, and the chance to network with colleagues across professions.
Tickets are sold online through TIX ID until 28 October 2026; there are no sales or registration at the venue. Tickets are issued in the buyer’s name and cannot be refunded or transferred. The event takes place in the Java Ballroom, The Westin Jakarta, with parking in the hotel basement. The event is held in Indonesian, and the dress code is smart casual.
