Faris Basalamah, Sp.JP(K), practiced as a cardiologist at Mitra Keluarga Hospital Bekasi Timur from around 2010 to 2024 and served as head of the hospital's cardiac catheterization laboratory. Dr. Faris also has practice experience at Klinik Utama Jantung Cinere, Said Sukanto Police Hospital, and Brawijaya Hospital, and has taught at the Faculty of Medicine and Health, Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta, since 2013.

Dr. dr. Faris Basalamah, Sp.JP(K), FIHA, FAPSIC, FAsCC, is a cardiologist at Heartology Cardiovascular Hospital, Jakarta, focusing on interventional cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. Dr. Faris completed medical school at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang (1997), and cardiology residency at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia (2006), then pursued further training in interventional cardiology and electrophysiology at the National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita, Jakarta (2009). In 2023 Dr. Faris earned a Ph.D. in medicine from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia.
At Heartology, Dr. Faris is involved in electrophysiology studies, which examine the electrical activity and conduction pathways of the heart. When tissue causing a rhythm disorder is found, it can be treated with ablation. Dr. Faris has also attended the ACT Program course at Asan Medical Center, Seoul, Korea, and a CRT and CRT-D course at Institut Jantung Negara, Malaysia.
Since 2013 Dr. Faris has taught at the Faculty of Medicine and Health, Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta. Published work has appeared in journals including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, the Journal of Arrhythmia, and the Indonesian Journal of Cardiology (Jurnal Kardiologi Indonesia). Dr. Faris is a member of the Jakarta Chapter of the Indonesian Heart Association (PERKI), the Indonesian Society of Interventional Cardiology (PIKI) Jakarta, and the Indonesian Heart Rhythm Society (InaHRS).
