Dr. Emanoel Oepangat, Sp.JP(K), is a cardiologist and consultant in interventional cardiology and vascular disease at Heartology Cardiovascular Hospital, Jakarta. Dr. Emanoel completed medical school at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Airlangga, in 1992, then completed cardiology training and fellowship at the Herz- und Diabeteszentrum Nordrhein-Westfalen (HDZ NRW), Ruhr University, Germany, through 2006.
While in Germany, Dr. Emanoel also studied vascular disease through training in internal medicine, pulmonology, and angiology at Bad Oeynhausen General Hospital. After returning to Indonesia, Dr. Emanoel completed an adaptation program at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, and the National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita, earning the cardiology specialist title in 2008. The Indonesian College of Cardiology granted consultant status in interventional cardiology in 2010 and in vascular medicine in 2019.
Dr. Emanoel has chaired the Banten Branch of the Indonesian Heart Association (PERKI) since 2022 and serves as secretary of the PERKI vascular disease working group. Dr. Emanoel also holds the FIHA, FAPSIC, and FSCAI fellowships and is active in research and scientific presentations in Indonesia and abroad.
