Is This Package Right for You?

Who This Package Is For

Cardiovascular Prime Screening is an Executive category checkup package at Heartology. It is designed for adults, especially those aged 40 or older or with several risk factors at once, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, smoking, or a family history of heart disease and stroke. Heart and blood vessel disease often develops without symptoms, and this package looks at your heart, blood vessels, and related organs in a single visit.

What Is Assessed

  • Blood and urine: a lipid profile including Apo B and Lp(a), two additional cholesterol risk markers; blood sugar and HbA1c; kidney and liver function; uric acid; and hs-CRP, a marker of inflammation.
  • Heart: a resting ECG; a treadmill stress echo, a heart ultrasound before and after treadmill walking to see how the heart muscle moves under effort; and coronary CT angiography with calcium scoring, which uses contrast dye to show the heart's arteries and any plaque inside them.
  • Blood vessels: a carotid Doppler ultrasound to look for plaque or narrowing in the neck arteries, and an ABI test, which compares blood pressure at your ankles and arms to check for narrowed leg arteries.
  • Other organs: a chest X-ray, a non-contrast brain CT, a whole abdomen ultrasound, and BIA to measure body composition such as fat and muscle.

Your Checkup Day

Arrive after fasting for 10 to 12 hours. The day starts with a blood draw, and the other tests follow in the order arranged by our staff. The package includes a light breakfast after the tests that require fasting and lunch once all tests are complete. Plan for about 5 to 6 hours.

After Your Results Are Ready

Results are available within 2 to 3 working days. The package includes consultations with a general practitioner, a cardiologist, and a clinical nutrition specialist. Your doctors explain the results, relate the findings to your risk factors, and suggest next steps, including your diet. A checkup is a screening, not a diagnosis. Severe symptoms such as intense chest pain, severe shortness of breath, or fainting need immediate care in an emergency department.

This Package Is Designed for

  • You are 40 or older and want your heart and blood vessels checked in one visit
  • You have a family history of heart disease or stroke
  • You have high cholesterol, high blood pressure (hypertension), or diabetes
  • You smoke or used to smoke
  • You have a busy schedule and want to complete the series of tests in one day

Prepare for Your Visit with Peace of Mind.

01

Before Your Visit

Confirm the schedule, fasting instructions (10-12 hours), and any medicine arrangements with our team. Do not change your medicines on your own.

02

On the Day of the Checkup

Bring your ID, a list of your medicines, and any previous test results. Estimated time: 5-6 hours, depending on the service flow.

03

After the Checkup

Estimated time to results: 2-3 business days. Make sure you know when you will discuss the results with a doctor.

Hospital stay: not required, based on the package information. Individual instructions are confirmed by our team.

Understand What the Results Mean and Their Limits.

Results Need to Be Read in Context.

A health checkup helps identify risk factors and early findings. A good result does not guarantee the absence of disease, and some findings may need further tests.

A checkup package does not replace a doctor's assessment of symptoms. If you have severe or sudden symptoms, go to the nearest emergency department right away or call Heart Attack Center 1500 258, rather than waiting for a checkup appointment.

Educational basis: NHS, benefits and limits of screening. The right package is decided with a doctor.

Terms to Know from the Start.

  1. Checkups are available by reservation only, made no later than one day before your preferred date, so the medical team can prepare your series of tests.
  2. You must fast for 10 to 12 hours before your blood sample is taken. While fasting, you may drink only plain water.
  3. Results are available within 2 to 3 working days after the checkup. Our team will contact you to collect your results or arrange a follow-up consultation if needed.
  4. The package includes a light breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is served after the tests that require fasting, at a time arranged by our staff, and lunch is served once all tests are complete.
  5. The package price already covers all administrative fees, so there are no extra administrative charges.

About Insurance

Checkup coverage depends on your insurer's rules and your policy. Ask about the documents and approvals you need before the checkup.

Questions before You Book.

Here are answers to common questions about the Cardiovascular Prime Screening package.

How should I prepare for the checkup?

Fast for 10 to 12 hours before the checkup; only plain water is allowed while fasting. Bring a list of your regular medicines and mention them at registration. Do not stop any medicine without your doctor's advice, because diabetes medicines and some heart medicines may need adjusting. Wear comfortable clothes and sports shoes for the treadmill, and set aside about 5 to 6 hours.

Do any tests use contrast dye or X-rays?

Yes. Coronary CT angiography uses contrast dye injected through a vein in your arm. Tell the staff if you have ever had an allergic reaction to contrast dye, have kidney problems, or take diabetes medicine. The heart CT, brain CT, and chest X-ray use X-rays, so also let them know if you are or might be pregnant. Your doctor will decide whether these tests are suitable for you.

How is this package different from All Hearts All Care and other packages?

All Hearts All Care is a basic package: blood tests for key risk factors, a treadmill test, and coronary calcium scoring in about 1 to 2 hours. Cardiovascular Prime Screening adds coronary CT angiography with contrast, a treadmill stress echo, a neck artery ultrasound, ABI, a brain CT, an abdominal ultrasound, more blood tests, and a clinical nutrition consultation over about 5 to 6 hours. If you are unsure which to choose, ask when you register.

Why does a heart package also check the brain and abdomen?

Heart disease, stroke, and problems in other organs often share the same risk factors, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol. A non-contrast brain CT shows the brain tissue, for example signs of an earlier stroke that went unnoticed. An abdominal ultrasound looks at organs such as the liver, gallbladder, and kidneys, including signs of fatty liver. These findings help your doctor see your risk from several angles.

When are the results ready, and who explains them?

Results are ready within 2 to 3 working days, and our team will contact you to collect them or schedule your consultations. A general practitioner and a cardiologist explain the findings for your heart, blood vessels, and other organs. A clinical nutrition specialist discusses your diet based on your blood fats, blood sugar, and body composition.

What if my results are abnormal?

An abnormal finding does not always mean disease. Your doctor will explain what it means and suggest next steps, such as regular monitoring, further tests, treatment, or lifestyle changes. This package is a screening, not a substitute for seeing a doctor when you have symptoms. If you have severe chest pain, severe shortness of breath, or fainting, do not wait for a checkup appointment; go to the nearest emergency department right away.
